Experience Fiji’s dramatic highlands on this 8-day charity trek supporting Good Return to break the cycle of poverty for women in Fiji.
With rich flora, sparkling rivers, dramatic ridgelines, intriguing history and a strong traditional culture, Fiji is the jewel of the Pacific. Travel to the heart of Fiji where traditional village life remains largely unchanged from 100 years ago. Embrace your inner explorer as you trek through the remote highlands, gaze out at 360-degree vistas and navigate across flowing rivers. Along the way, you will connect with the friendly locals as you are immersed in their daily life during overnight village stays.
Challenge yourself as you spend four days trekking through demanding terrain and know that every step you take signifies the steps that women in Fiji take everyday to create economic independence for themselves. Trekking alongside you will be an expert crew of hiking guides from the local area, supporting you every step of the way.
Throughout your journey you will be able to witness just how powerful your fundraising efforts have been, with a visit to some of communities Good Return are helping empower. Good Return has partnered with South Pacific Business Development (SPBD) Microfinance Ltd since October 2012. More than 7,000 women across Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and the Solomon Islands have received microfinance loans to create sustainable livelihoods through SPBD.
