@ Nicholas Psarros - Next Level Performance Coaching

Suite 308, 546 Collins Street
Melbourne VIC  3000

Get stuck in your studio with spines that don’t move the way you want? Using the unique set of barrels (small barrel, spine corrector and ladder barrel) this workshop will help you support your clients whether they are beginners, in rehabilitation or capable of the vigorous and deep advanced system.

The ultimate goal of the advanced level of work is to enjoy a full range of movement while maintaining connected to the powerhouse. This workshop will help you to see the value of the barrels as they have the power to wake up and work the hard-to- reach muscles that play crucial roles in form and posture from day one right up to the Pilates pro!

Used correctly, the barrels are one of the most important weapons in your studio arsenal leading to greater movement efficiency and capability on the mat and Reformer. Participants will get an insight on how and why each particular exercise will benefit the client while learning how to perform them safely.

From the curator
Olga is known for imbuing a sense of energy and lift in her instructors and during workshops she takes to full flight helping each participant find their best and most energetic teaching method.

You will leave this workshop with a greater appreciation of the group of barrels and how they can revolutionise your practice, not just another prop to do a hamstring stretch or chest lift on!

Be prepared to work towards the stronger intermediate and advanced repertoire. If you aren’t currently able, don’t worry, there will be much to learn including how to best execute each movement and of course, the role of tactile cueing.
